House of Heroes is a Christian Charity that provides the opportunity for men and women to overcome life controlling issues and lead a new life.

Many of our residents come from a background of homelessness and addiction. When they join us they become a member of our Therapeutic Community (TC). We use the Therapeutic Community Model developed by George De Leon, which is successfully used throughout the UK and the world. Community members have the opportunity to grow within the TC to fulfil their potential and gain, or regain, confidence in themselves. Our programme lasts for 12 months.

House of Heroes projects are located in North Devon. Our two main project houses are both set amidst stunning countryside, and offer plenty of space far away from any distractions. Residents also participate in a work programme and regular outings.  

We are currently undergoing CCQI accreditation, and are members of the Association of Therapeutic Communities.
