House of Heroes is a Christian Charity that helps people to overcome life controlling issues and to lead a new life.

Many of our residents come from a background of homelessness and addiction. When they join us they become a member of our Therapeutic Community (TC). We use the TC Model developed by George De Leon, which is successfully used throughout the UK and the world. TC members have the opportunity to grow within the TC structure to fulfil their potential and gain, or regain, confidence in themselves. Our programme lasts for 6 to 9 months (according to resident's needs).

House of Heroes projects are located in North Devon. Our two main project houses are both set amidst stunning countryside, and offer plenty of space far away from any distractions. Residents also participate in a work programme and have regular outings.  

We are currently undergoing CCQI accreditation, and are members of the Association of Therapeutic Communities.
